Do I need to update my url/domain name in the Affinity Sports system?
As a part of our ongoing PCI compliance and security efforts, all Affinity Sports customers have been transferred to secure https protocol.
With that, customers that are using a url/domain name that does not match the format criteria (more than two dots), will need to update their url/domain. This includes online player registration, as well as tournaments and events.
For example:
anyorg.yourclub.sportsaffinity.com should be changed to anyorg-yourclub.sportsaffinity.com
NOTE: The first dot was replaced with a hypen.
When visiting a url/domain for customers that have not updated their url/domain, the visitor will receive a browser message indicating the page is not secure.
